Co-Ed Power Rankings

1. Team Gphi/SAE 17s (Schweitzer Title) – Currently in 2nd with 60 points.

Holding down the top spot for the 2nd week in a row, following their second consecutive StudentCity Game of the Week Win, is Team Gphi/SAE 17s! They took down former #3 KKG/Phi Delt by a score of 9-1 in Indoor Soccer and looked extremely impressive in doing so. Andrew Shepard had a hat trick and Stacey Rhum also scored a Goal in this one. They’ll look to keep up the momentum after the off-week when they return with Co-Ed Dodgeball on Wednesday Oct. 19!

2. Team Tri Delt/SAE (SLA Insurance) – Currently in 1st with 65 points.

Moving up a couple spots this week is Team Tri Delt/SAE who got a big Soccer W on Wednesday Night against Team Gphi/Sammy’s 18s.  They dominated by a score of 13-1 here. Jacob Duffy had 3 goals to lead the Offense in a Game where many got in on the scoring action.  They are sitting pretty in 1st place of the Standings right now and really control their destiny for the #1 overall seed as the Playoffs loom in November. Plenty of time until then though.. Can they catch #1 Gphi/SAE 17s in a couple of weeks in Co-Ed Dodgeball? We shall see!

3. Team KKG/Phi Delt (Houlihan’s) – Currently in 3rd with 45 points.

They fell back a spot after dropping their Soccer Game with #1 Team Gphi/SAE 17s.. They are still right in the thick of everything though and will be just fine. They were without half of their normal roster on Wednesday Night and that didn’t do them any favors. They will be back to full strength in a couple of weeks when we return for Co-Ed Dodgeball on Wednesday Oct. 19.

4. Team Alpha Phi/ZBT (Sushi Kushi) – Currently in 5th with 20 points.

First W of the Season! They looked great in Soccer on Wednesday Night and it looks like it may be just the thing they needed to turn everything around for them. Both Heidi Killinger and Jake Prizant scored 3x in their Win!  Not only does the W launch them into the Power Rankings but it also gets them a key W in the tiebreakers for later in the season when Playoff seeding becomes important. They’ll take on the rest of the Co-Ed Division in Dodgeball on Wednesday Oct. 19!

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team Bergdoll/Pikes (StudentCity) – Currently in 6th with 0 points.

Team Gphi/Sammy’s 18s (Spare Time) – Currently in 4th with 40 points.

Soccer maybe not their thing.. They dropped one against Team Tri Delt/SAE on Wednesday Night. It happens. No worries. Soccer is done for the season. So no worries there either.  Brett Werner did manage to grab a goal in this one.. This group is still among the favorites to win the whole thing and they will look to bounce back with Co-Ed Dodgeball after the holiday on Wed. Oct. 19!

Men’s Power Rankings

Going to just recap the Dodgeball Week here and then Rank the Teams below.. It was much of the same for the Men’s League on Wednesday Night. Team SigEp dominated the first hour to stay on pace to go Undefeated and grab every single point possible to them… Team Pikes took 2nd and Team ATO took 3rd and both went home with points from the first set of Games.. Then in Hour #2.. Team Sammy’s 18s, who came into the Week at #2 in the Power Rankings and Standings, won their group and stayed on the heels of Team SigEp. Team AKL was great on the night and came in 2nd in that group followed by Theta Chi and SAE 17-18s.. Not a ton of shaking up to do as many of the Top Teams grabbed points..
