The Champs have been Crowned!  In just a bit, we’ll breakdown how Team Massel grabbed the Championship, but first let’s offer them a huge Congratulations!   Here’s the Weekly Highlight Video!

Also, if everyone can take one minute, and VOTE, All Sports Series’ has All Stars from our Hoops League competing in “The Basketball Tournament” and $2 Million is at stake! We Need Votes to get them in there!

One more thing before we get to the Power Rankings, our MVP Sponsor for the Chicago Spring Leagues is none other than Wrigley View Rooftop.  The Cubs are officially BACK and Wrigley View offers the perfect experience for getting Cubs action while enjoying the perks of all you can eat/drink!  If you ever want more info on Tix (group outings) just contact Holden@allsportsseries.com

Championship Match

1. Team Massel (Rhoyal Decadence) v. 2. Team Dorfman (SLA Insurance)

Team Massel has been at the top of the Standings virtually all season long.. They opened up the Regular Season at 5-0 and definitely set the tone early.. Hot on their heels though was always Team Dorfman who dealt Team Massel their first and only loss this Season.. We were ready for a true battle of the titans here.. Here was the situation.. Since Team Massel had not lost in the Playoffs, Team Dorfman would need to defeat them in two consecutive matches in order to earn the Crown.. Certainly a tough feat, considering the Massel group has only lost once all year..

As Game 1 got underway, Team Massel looked determined to end this thing well before getting to a Winner-Take-All Match #2.. They got out to a huge lead and before you knew it Team Massel had won Game 1.. As Game 2 began, Team Massel was just 1 Game away from the Crown.. Team Dorfman would have to now win back to back Games in order to extend the Championship.. Unfortunately for them, Team Massel was at their best and had no intention of allowing Team Dorfman to gather any momentum.. Team Massel would also win Game 2 and the Championship! More on them in just a bit!

For the Runners-up, Team Dorfman.. They have to be proud of their season, even if a bit disappointed at the ending.. They were among the elite all season long and a Championship run in their first season is extremely encouraging for the future of this group… We usually see a big influx of talent from Year 1 to Year 2 and Captain Dan is as fine a GM as any in All Sports Series (he has a couple Championships to prove it).. He will be ready for what will be a much better Co-Ed VBall League in the Spring of 2017. Thanks for playing!

Now to the Champs, Team Massel!  It’s not often that we see a Team basically dominate from wire to wire in an All Sports Season but that’s exactly what Team Massel did from the opening serve back in February.  This group had everything and then some.. If they can keep this core together, they likely could reign supreme for years in this Co-Ed VBall League. Congrats again and thanks for playing!

Want to give a big Thank You to everyone again for playing! Hopefully see you this Summer!
