Power Rankings

1. Team Sammy (MacTaggart’s Market Orange) – 3-0

Got to 3-0. That’s all that matters, yo.  They look to make it 4 straight against #5 DU on THURSDAY NIGHT!

2. Team Ksig SO (Badger Bowl Green) – 2-1

The most impressive performance we’ve seen bar none this season. They won 104-68 and against previously undefeated #2 Team AEPi1.  The Sophs of Kappa Sig are not messing around folks.. They are looking determined to take the Crown. Peter Poggioli led the way with 35 points. He was fantastic. Michael Willis had 21 and Paul Cushing chipped in 19 of his own. Just an incredible Offensive showcase.  They get Team Sig Chi next THURSDAY NIGHT.

3. Team Fiji (Badger Bowl Gray) – 2-1

Up from Unranked to #3.. Sitting at 2-1. Not so bad. They’ll take on #4 Team AEPi1 on THURSDAY NIGHT!

4. Team AEPi1 (MacTaggart’s Gray) – 2-1

Sometimes you just run into a group on the wrong night.. That’s the best way to describe what happened to Team AEPi1 on Tuesday.. Team Ksig SO was a buzzsaw and they happened to be standing in the way.. Same thing happened with Team Fiji last week against Team Sammy in Daniel Ostrower’s 44 point Game… The fact that Ksig went off for 104 does not speak to AEPi1’s Defense. They have been stellar this season on that end.. Those guys were just on fire. It happens. They will look to rebound in a key matchup against fellow 2-1 squad #3 Team Fiji next THURSDAY NIGHT.

5. Team DU (Badger Bowl Red) – 1-2

Picked up their first W in Franchise history which is always the hardest to come by. They got a big Game out of Matt Compton in his debut. He went for 23 points and provided some scoring punch they had been missing. On THURSDAY they will try to take down Undefeated #1 Team Sammy in an attempt to climb back to .500. This is a better group than the one that started the season. They can do it.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team AEPi2 (Madison Taxi) – 0-3

Drew Lukoff had another nice night for these guys with 19 points. Max Kohl added 14 as well.  They are still searching for W #1 but it will come. They were in this Game on Tuesday Night against DU and it could have been theirs, had a couple of shots stayed down for them.. On THURSDAY NIGHT, they look to get that first Win against Team Ksig JR.

Team Ksig JR (Ian’s Pizza) – 1-2

Team Sig Chi (Badger Bowl Lime) – 1-2

That’s it for Week 3. Remember, next Games are on THURSDAY OCT. 13!
