Power Rankings

1. Team Sammy (MacTaggart’s Orange) – 5-1

Team Sammy enters the final week of the Regular Season tied atop the Standings at 5-1 with Team Fiji following their W on Tuesday Night over Team AEPi 2. It was a decisive W, by 20 points, over their Rivals. Next Tuesday they will face-off with Team DU to conclude the Regular Season.  They control their own destiny for the #1 seed. They beat Team Fiji head to head back in Week 2.. So, all they need to do is defeat DU and the #1 seed (along with a BYE to the Final4) will be all theirs.

2. Team Fiji (Badger Bowl Gray) – 5-1

They got a very solid W over Team DU on Tuesday Night to keep pace with Team Sammy in the Standings.  Chris Stout and Peter Sandvick both had 16 points while Randall Pulfer contributed 14 in the Win.  For Team Fiji, heading into the final week, there’s still a shot that they can secure the top spot in the Standings.. They’ll need Team Sammy to lose and then to also defeat Team Sig Chi.. If that happens, they will be the 1 seed and earn a BYE to the Final4. Otherwise, they will likely head into the Playoffs as the #2 seed.

3. Team Ksig SO (Badger Bowl Green) – 4-2

4. Team AEPi 1 (MacTaggart’s Gray) – 3-3

They got back to .500 this week and with a Win over their fellow AEPi 2 bros. they can close out the Regular Season with a 4-3 record + momentum as we head into the Playoffs.

5. Team DU (Badger Bowl Red) – 2-4

They continue to stick in the Top-5 this week. They fell to #2 Team Fiji on Tuesday Night but certainly made a Game out of it. Nicholas LaCourt finished with 15 points to lead his Team in scoring. There’s a lot on the line as we head to the final week for DU. They will face #1 Team Sammy.  It will definitely be a tough test but they have enough to pull the upset. They will also be scoreboard watching as Ksig JR and Sig Chi both are tied with them at 2-4 heading into the final week.. The difference between the 4/5 seed and the 7 seed is a huge one.. The 7 seed will have to play an extra Game against the 8 seed AND then take on the 2 seed.. Week 7 is very important.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team AEPi 2 (Madison Taxi) – 0-6

Team Ksig JR (Ian’s Pizza) – 2-4

Team Sig Chi (Badger Bowl Lime) – 2-4

Much of what was said about DU above can be echo’d here, just reversed.. They fell to #1 Team Sammy on Tuesday Night and now will move on to wrap-up the Regular Season against #2 Team Fiji.  They have a lot on the line heading into the Regular Season finale.. 3 Teams are tied at 2-4 currently. Sig Chi, DU and Ksig JR.. One of those Teams could finish as high as the 4th or 5th seed.. While one of those Teams will finish in 7th.. Which means a date with AEPi 2 in the Opening Round of the Playoffs and the Winner of that Game will then have to play the #2 seed in the same night.. A win this coming Tuesday would be huge!

That’s it for Week 6. Get ready for the Regular Season finale next Tuesday!
