Power Rankings

1. Team Rosen (Spikeball) – 4-1

It was moving day for Team Rosen as they ascended from the crowded middle of the pack to the top of both the Standings and the Power Rankings! They swept a 16″ double dip, picking up Ws against Team ZBT SR and SAE SO in the process. Joe Carmical was key in the Win against ZBT SR.. They won that Game 3-1 and he went 2 for 3 and drove in a key run. In their second Game, everyone got in on the action.. They totaled 16 Runs there.. Captain Brian Rosen went 2 for 3 and scored 3 times. They’ll get a Rematch with Team ZBT SR but this time in Flag Football on Sunday April 23.

2. Team ZBT JR (SLA Insurance) – 3-1

ZBT JR has been absolutely dominant on the Flag Football field so far this season and that trend continued on Sunday afternoon against Team Fat Sal’s. Captain Brent Rubin has the league lead (by a wide margin) in total TDs and he is a big reason why the Offense is so tough to stop on each and every possession. They put up FIFTY on Sunday afternoon. That is no joke. Skyler Tullman hauled in a couple TD grabs on the day. They get Team SAE SO in Softball on Sunday April 23.

3. Team ZBT SR (TOW Caps) – 1-3

Team ZBT SR fell just a bit short against Team Rosen in 16″ Softball on Sunday. It was a defensive affair and they just couldn’t get enough timely hits to defeat Team Rosen. Captain Cobey Koretz was a beast at the plate though totaling 4 hits on the day. They did manage to pick up an easy (too easy) W over the ZBT FR on the day. It was enough to move them up into the Rankings this week. They take on Team ZBT SO in Softball and a Rematch with Team Rosen looms in Flag Football on Sunday April 23.

4. Team SAE SO (StudentCity Pink) – 2-3

Falling a spot this week is Team SAE SO who dropped a Softball Game to the tough #1 Team Rosen squad on Sunday afternoon. They just couldn’t keep Team Rosen away from that big inning and that doomed them. Kevin Ken had a couple of hits and scored a run for these guys. Will Gaus continues to be someone to watch as he had 3 hits, scored a run and drove in a run as well.  They take on both ZBT JR and Team Fat Sal’s in a tough Softball double header on Sunday April 23.

5. Team Fat Sal’s – 2-2

Team Fat Sal’s had what seems like the hardest assignment in the League on Sunday — playing Team ZBT JR in Flag Football. They are just a dominant Offense and they are gaining steam with each passing week. They just need to shake it off and look ahead to their next Game. Jonathan Broker did throw a couple of TDs in this one as he hit Brian Buell and Dustin Potter for scores. They take on both SAE squads in Softball on Sunday April 23.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team SAE FR (StudentCity Red) – 1-2

Team ZBT FR (Dr. Jacob D.D.S.) – 0-5

Team ZBT SO (cea Study Abroad) – 0-3

That’s it for this week. See you back on April 23!
