Power Rankings

1. Team Stratton (Chicago Trolley) – In 1st with 47 points

The 2016 Champs have continued their hot start this season, displaying their dominance once again in a rout of Team Campbell & Co. on the football field. QB Brett Stratton accounted for 4 TDs en route to a 36-12 victory. They look to continue their undefeated season in two weeks after the 4th of July break in a matchup with Team Reef on the Softball diamond.

2. Team Mortier (The Bucket List) – In 2nd with 44 points

Team Mortier deserves the right to stay in the #2 slot on the Power Rankings, especially after a 32-8 win over Team Castriano in Football this week. Randy Brown led the scoring with 4 TD’s and Jeffrey Oscar added 2 of his own. Next up for them is a Softball battle with #4 Team Leiby on July 10th in what will be The Bucket List Game of the Week!

3. Team Gordon (Sandusky Lee) – In 3rd with 41 points

Team Gordon showed up to play once again to defend their #3 spot in the last week’s Standings and Rankings. You’ll find them slotted in at #3 in the Power Rankings after a 34-30 showdown with Team Reef on the football field Monday Night. Fantasy football owners would have loved to have Frank Maione on their team, as he accounted for 5 touchdowns. Next up for them is a Hoops game against Team Freesok on July 10.

4. Team Leiby (Chipotle) –In 4th with 32 points

Team Leiby jumped all the way up to 4th in the Standings after their annihilation of Team Freesok in football by the score of 42-7. Touchdowns were a’plenty for this team, led by Tim Boland with 6, who was the leading scorer for the League this week. Team Leiby looks to get another win in two weeks against #2 seed Team Mortier in softball – this will be The Bucket List Game of the Week!

5. Team UM Alumni (Spikeball) – In 5th with 26 points

Team UM Alumni narrowly squeaked out a win against Team Wolter on Monday night, winning the game by an extra point, 19-18. Michael Dent helped secure the Win for his Team as he played QB and scored 3 times en route to the victory. The win catapults them into 5th in the Standings. They will play Team Castriano in some Indoor Soccer on July 10th.

6. Team Wolter (Rockin’ Refuel) – Tied for 6th with 18 points.

After Losing a heartbreaker to Team UM Alumni on Monday Night, Team Wolter is eagerly looking ahead to their next matchup. Cory Stiles contributed to all 3 touchdowns for the team, but Team Wolter wants to put this Game behind them. They play Team Campbell & Co. in Indoor Soccer in two weeks.

7. Team Reef (Fox in a Box) – Tied for 6th with 18 points

Team Reef drops a spot in the Rankings after a Loss to #3 Team Gordon on Monday night, but they kept it close, losing only by 4 points. Captain Leor Reef did all he could by scoring 4 times, but it wasn’t enough as the team fell a bit short. They will play Defending Champs #1 Team Stratton in Softball on July 10. Mark that game in your calendars as it should be a good one!

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team Campbell & Co. (Karyn Collection) – Tied for 9th with 12 points

Not an easy week 2 matchup for this young team as they were slotted against Defending Champs and #1 Team Stratton. They fought admirably but lost by the score of 12-36. Gus Spelman found the end zone and so did Dan Brislow. Not how you start the season, but how you finish! Up next for them is Indoor Soccer game against Team Wolter in two Weeks.

Team Castriano (SLA Insurance) – Tied for 9th with 12 points

Team Castriano ended up on the wrong side of the 32-8 scoreboard against #2 Team Mortier. Jordan Greenberg connected with Steve Keo for their only score of the game. They look to put this game quickly behind them and gear up for an Indoor Soccer clash against #5 Team UM Alumni on July 10th. Expect a strong second-half of the season from these guys!

Team Freeosk (Dr. Jacob D.D.S.) – In for 7th with 15 points
Team Freesok fell a bit in the Rankings after a tough performance on the football field. Ryan Sneddon and Captain Tara Steinbauer connected for a score but it was not enough to get passed Team Leiby who scored 42 of their own. Next up for them is a Hoops game against #3 Team Gordon. Captain Tara has had this date circled for a while!

That’s it for Week 3. Have a great holiday!
