Power Rankings

1. Team Massel – 1-0

No where to start the 2017 Power Rankings than with the 2016 Co-Ed Volleyball Champs!  Team Massel is led by Landon Massel once again, however the Team will look a lot different this Spring compared to last.. He is joined by Scott Miller who led the 3rd place finishers a year ago and they will surely form a dynamic duo. They also have All Sports Series veteran Caroline Schwartz on the squad.. This is a group that can stay on top all Spring long.. They get #3 Team Bohrer in what will be the Game of the Week!

2. Team Dorfman – 1-0

Coming in at #2 is Team Dorfman and that is right where they finished a year ago. This group is Captained by Daniel Dorfman, who will always hold the honor of Captaining the very first All Sports Series League Champions back in 2010.  He is joined by brother David and a host of quality Players, all of whom are looking to take the leap from 2nd to 1st later this Spring! They get Team Berzon on Sunday when they try to get to 2-0!

3. Team Borher – 1-0

Team Bohrer started off their season with a big Win over Team Berzon by the score of 2 Games to none. Captain Jason is joined by a roster full of Rookies but it took them little time to adjust to All Sports Series. This group may have the most talented bunch from top to bottom.. They’ll have a perfect opportunity to show that off on Sunday when they take on #1 Team Massel in the Game of the Week!

4. Team Wolter – 0-1

Team Wolter came very close to grabbing a Week 1 W over Defending Champs Team Massel.. They forced a 3rd Game by winning Game 2 but couldn’t win two in a row to earn the Win in the Match. They are led by All Sports Series vet Jeff Wolter and Emmalie Beinlich. These two were anchors on the 2015 Chicago Co-Ed League Championship Team. They will be near the top all season long! Next week they Team Kotvis.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team Berzon – 0-1

All Sports Series vet Adam Berzon is captaining his first squad in a few years and he has brought in a group with a bunch of talent. They had an unlucky pairing in Week 1 as they faced Team Bohrer who might have been the most impressive Team in the League on Sunday.  They have nothing to worry about as the entire group seems very solid. Look for them to jump into the Rankings in no time. They take on Team Dorfman in Week 2.

Team Kotvis – 0-1

Remember – it’s alphabetical in this section.. Team Kotvis is Captained by All Sports Series vet Louis Kotvis. They were without much of their squad on Sunday so we will get a much better impression of them in Week 2 when they take on Team Wolter. The winner of that Match will get back to the .500 mark!

That’s it for Week 1. Good Luck in Week 2!
