Power Rankings

1. Team Harris (cea Study Abroad) – 5-0

Now to 5-0, Team Harris can reasonably set their sights on an Undefeated Season. They will take on Team Widen who has been on a skid as of late before finishing the Season against Team Kowalczyk in  a Rematch of the 2015 Championship and the 2016 Semis.  We’ll outline that Rivalry more next week.  Captain Adam Harris had a hat trick and a couple of assists while David Weisman had a couple of Goals as well. They have clearly separated themselves from the pack.. Can they finish it out?

2.  Team Robinson (SLA Insurance) – 4-1

Team Robinson, aside from their slip against Team Harris, has looked very good this Season. They got the 13-1 W over Team Iversen on Sunday. They got goals from 6 players including a hat trick from Vladimir Kotliarchuk.  Their Defense has always been strong and that is once again being shown. They have a tough match-up with Team Kowalczyk in Week 6 between two title-contenders. That will be the Game of the Week!

3. Team Holzman (StudentCity Gray) – 3-2

Sticking at #3 this Week is Team Holzman following their 13-8 W over Team Widen on Sunday afternoon. Matt Pedemonti had SIX Goals and Tyler Edwards had 4 in what was an Offensive explosion from these guys. They try to stay on the right side of the .500 mark when they take on the tough Team Bayer squad in Week 6.

4. Team Kowalczyk (Chipotle) – 3-1

Team Kowalczyk got their 3rd win of the season on Sunday and they are about to embark on a tough stretch of their schedule. All 3 Kowalczyks had a hat trick on Sunday and Evan Vondrasek also had one. It was a nice day at the office for these guys. They will move on to face Defending Champs #2 Team Robinson in Week 6 before they finish the season with a Double Header against #5 Team Bayer and Undefeated #1 Team Harris.

5. Team Bayer (StudentCity Neon) – 2-3

Team Bayer took on the #1 squad in Team Harris on Sunday afternoon. They fought hard but just couldn’t keep up with Team Harris. Nick Oliver had a hat trick once again on Sunday. This guy knows how to score. This group will be just fine. They get #3 Team Holzman on Sunday in what should be a fun Game.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team Iversen (Dr. Jacob D.D.S.) – 0-5

Team Iversen took on the Defending Champs on Sunday and it didn’t go that well in terms of the score. However, if you compare it to the matchup last year – it shows how much they have improved since last season. These guys play hard every week. They get Team Snyder on Sunday afternoon. They could sneak up and grab this one.

Team Snyder (Spikeball) – 2-4

Team Snyder was in it with Team Kowalczyk for much of the Game on Sunday and then they suffered a bad stretch and lost the Game as a result. They really do have enough to compete with every Team in the League, they just need to put 42 minutes together against one of them to show what they can do. They are a prime suspect for pulling an upset come Playoff time. They get Team Iversen on Sunday afternoon.

Team Widen (Dr. Jacob D.D.S. Gold) – 1-4

Team Widen fell to Team Holzman on Sunday afternoon in what was a high-scoring affair. Matthew Lee had a huge day, going for FIVE goals in this one. He has turned into one of the premier goal-getters in the League. They will now turn their sights on #1 Team Harris who they will take on this coming Sunday. Can they dethrone the Undefeated #1 Team?

That’s it for this Week. Good Luck in Week 6!
