Power Rankings

1. Team Guggenheim (Chipotle) – 3-0

Holding it down for the 2nd straight week in the #1 spot is Team Guggenheim who got to 3-0 on Tuesday evening, despite many of them battling vicious hangovers from the weekend. They took down Team Massel in Week 3 and the effort was once again headlined by a stellar Defense that has only allowed 12 total points this season. Far and away the Leader in the League for D. On the Offensive side QB Jeff Nault ran it in for 2 TDs and hit DAC Chaimovitz for a score as well.  They look to make it 4 in a row on Tuesday against #2 Team Holway in what will be the Bucket List Game of the Week!

2. Team Holway (Biaggi’s) – 3-0

Team Holway kept pace with #1 Team Guggenheim on Tuesday as they got to 3-0 as well, this time defeating a solid Team Roberson squad. There were many points to go around in this one.. QB and Captain Brad Holway threw a Couple TDs to Max Shulruff and hit Dan Murdoch for another. They now look to making an absolute statement when they take on fellow 3-0 squad – #1 Team Guggenheim in the Bucket List Game of the Week!

3. Team Apuli (StudentCity) – 2-1

Team Apuli bounced back nicely from a Week 2 Game that they’d like to forget.. This week they played against the Defending Champs and their Offense really came alive. QB Michael Glink threw 3 scores including 2 to Mike Matasar and he also picked up another 3 on the ground.. They could not be stopped.  With the Top-2 Teams locking up in Week 4, they will have a chance to catch one of them in both the Standings and Rankings next week.. That is if they can get past Team Massel.

4. Team Roberson (Dr. Jacob D.D.S.) – 1-2

Team Roberson climbed into the Rankings this week despite falling by a touchdown to the Undefeated Team Holway. They have shown a lot in the past couple of weeks and you know they are going to continue to improve as they gain more playing time with one another. Ryan Lederman threw a TD to Anthony Moore who also had 2 TD passes in this one. They are going to be an exciting duo as we move forward. They will take on the Defending Champs Team Jiminez in Week 4.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team Jiminez (cea Study Abroad) – 0-3

Team Jiminez is still searching for their first W of the season as the Championship Hangover lasted through April. They will be excited to see the calendar change and start a fresh month of May. QB and Captain Alex Jiminez hit Jonathon Frosolone and Israel Bautista for scores in this one. Defensively they just need to find a way to get off the field. This is a group that knows how to win and in a big way, just need to get back to what works for them. They will take on Team Roberson in Week 4.

Team Massel (Schweitzer Title) – 0-3

Team Massel left Week 3 still looking for their first win but they did play well in a Game where the score makes it seem like it was further apart than it actually was. They were trailing by a score until very late in this one.. They played the top team and while there are no moral victories, it still shows they are improving. They look to finally get their first W when they take on Team Apuli in Week 4!

That’s it for this week! See everyone on Tuesday Night!
