We saw Team Dean get their 4th straight W on Thursday as well as they continue to rise.. We’ll cover everything else below!

Power Rankings

1. Team Darcy – 5-0

As we mentioned at the top, Team Darcy continued their dominance over the Thursday Night Leagues and won their 15th straight Game.. They took down their former Championship combatant and did so by 30 points. It was a statement to the rest of the League.. These guys have no plans of dropping a Game.. Tim Dunlavy had 24 points to help in the W. Next in line is Team Watts who has won a couple in a row.

2. Team Dean – 4-1

Up to #2 this week is Team Dean – their highest Ranking of the Season. These guys have looked fantastic for 4 straight weeks now and their recent W over Team Glass may have been their best yet. Harry Clarke had 18 and was one of 5 scorers in double figures here. Captain Tred has really pulled together a deep and athletic crew. These guys are posing the biggest threat to Team Darcy and a future Playoff rematch between the two will be awfully fun. Week 6 brings forth Team Unger who also sit at 4-1.. This will be big for Playoff seeding.

3. Team Unger – 4-1

Team Unger wasn’t able to get the form of revenge they were looking for on Thursday Night. Team Darcy still has their number (for now). Judd Barron went for 19 to lead them in scoring once again. The struggle against Darcy is more on the Defensive front where they just can’t seem to string stops together. They look ahead now to Week 6 where they have to quickly shake the Loss off. They are playing new #2 Team Dean on Thursday Night.. Both Teams are 4-1 and this is a big one in the Standings.

4. Team Shlofrock – 3-1

Team Shlofrock got a big-time W on Thursday Night over a Final4 Team from last season – Team Horwitz. With the W they pulled up to #4 in the Rankings and are just a half Game back in the Standings of Teams Dean and Unger who sit in 2nd.. It’ll be a race for the 2/3 spots in the Standings for these top Teams as they try to avoid Team Darcy until the Championship.

5. Team Jiminez – 3-2

Team Jiminez has won 3 straight after getting the Week 5 W over Team Indy. Miguel Valdez and George Santizo both had really nice Games here as the Team went over the century mark in points. Their talent was evident from the start this season, and now that they had a few weeks to gel, they are starting to rack up the Wins. Week 6 brings Team Horwitz who they are tied with in the Standings.

6. Team Horwitz – 3-2

Team Horwitz dropped their 2nd straight on Thursday evening. This one was to Team Shlofrock. Drake Orser had 20 points but they struggled to get much going elsewhere. They are still one of the top Teams and they’ll break out of this funk soon. They take on Team Jiminez in Week 6 – both Teams sit at 3-2 currently. Should be a good Game!

7. Team Watts – 2-3

Jumping into the Rankings this week is Mack Watts and co. They have now won their 2nd straight Game and are really rolling. Truman Tiernan and Donny Nordmann both had 16 in the Win over Team Deutsch. It surely helped that Captain Mack is so familiar with Team Deutsch  – he surely had the scouting report for his club. They look to climb back to the .500 mark in Week 6 against the Defending Champs Team Darcy.. Can they shock the world?

8. Team Halperin – 2-3

Rounding out the Top-8 this week is Team Halperin who got back in to the Win column with a really nice victory over Team Kaplan on Thursday Night. They pulled it out 73-71. Nick Nolan had 20 while Jeff Shukis and Captain Joey each were in double figures as well. This group, when at full strength, can beat anyone in the League. Anyone. They take on Team Deutsch on Thursday when they try to get back to .500.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team Deutsch – 1-3

Team Deutsch fell to Team Watts on Thursday Night. They were a bit short-handed and it really hindered their chances. Jamie Nikitas had 22 to lead them in scoring.. Captain Justin had 15 as well in this one as his 3-ball was on point. They still have a few Games left (they’ll finish the season with a double header) so they still can really improve their seed prior to the start of the Playoffs. They take on Team Halperin in Week 6.

Team Glass – 1-4

Team Glass suffered a tough Loss on Thursday Night. They have been bitten by the injury bug and it is not helping their cause, especially when they are playing against the League’s best. Oren Amzaleg went for 19 points in this one. Their schedule is getting easier and don’t be surprised if they break off a couple of Ws to close out the season. They get Team Kaplan in Week 6 – who they are tied with in the Standings currently.

Team Indy – 0-5

Team Indy ran into a streaking Team Jiminez squad on Thursday Night. Robert Balcerzak and Shane Mones both played well in the Loss. These guys can’t get down about their record. They still have some chances to get some Ws and turn the season around. They take on Team Shlofrock on Thursday evening.

Team Kaplan – 1-4

Team Kaplan dropped a tough one to Team Halperin on Thursday Night – they lost by just 2 points. Captain Brett Kaplan scored 16 and Josh Berman had 14 in this one. These guys are going to be just fine. They have dropped a couple close ones.. Games that they won a season ago.. That is the difference in their record – just a couple of close Games.. They are still going to be a threat moving forward. Team Glass awaits in Week 6.

That’s it for this Week. Good Luck on Thursday Night!
