Playoff Preview

Open. Rd: 7. Team Berkson (StudentCity) v. 10. Team Zhang (SLA Insurance White)

Team Berkson started off 4-1 and was near the top of the Standings through Week 5. That included a W over Team Zhang.. However, they stumbled down the stretch and fell into the Opening Round. Both of these Teams have talent and while they didn’t play their best in the weeks leading up to the Regular Season both are capable of getting the W here. The Winner will be taking on the tough #2 Team Rhum in the Elite8 right after this Game is over.

Open. Rd: 8. Team Mones (Schweitzer Title) v. 9. Team Kaplan (Karyn Collection)

Both Teams are a capable of winning multiple Games in the Playoffs. They both have shown flashes despite what their records show. First things first, only one of them can advance from the Opening Round and take their shot at the #1 overall seed Team McNichols in the Elite8. They will have some momentum after grabbing a big-time Playoff W. Depth will be key as Team McNichols likes to push the rock.. This time next week, will be talking about a stunner?

Elite8:1. Team McNichols (The Bucket List) v. 8/9

Team McNichols played fantastic this Summer and earned the #1 seed as a result. These guys can really fill it up and will look to push the pace against whoever their opponent is on Thursday Night. They will take on the winner of Team Mones and Team Kaplan as the group led by Team McNichols tries to close in on their first All Sports Series crown!

Elite8: 2. Team Rhum (Rockin’ Refuel) v. 7/10

Team Rhum has Championship experience and knows what it is like to go through the rigors of the All Sports Series Playoffs. They will take on the Winner of #7 Berkson and #10 Zhang in the Elite8. Team Berkson is the favorite to advance there.. That is a Team that defeated #2 Team Rhum back in Week 5.. Since then Team Rhum has been great and Team Berkson has gone on a slide but it will be an interesting Rematch for sure if we get there!

Elite8: 3. Team Neuhausen (Live Clean CHI) v. 6. Team Dean (Sunset Foods)

Without a doubt this is the highlight of Night 1 of the Playoffs on Thursdays. Team Dean is the reigning and defending Thursday Night Champs from the Spring and Team Neuhausen has been amazing with their high-powered Offense this Season. They played during the Regular Season finale and Team Dean grabbed a huge win, but can they do it 2 Weeks in a row?

Elite8: 4. Team Lerman (SLA Insurance Blue) v. 5. Team Schwartz (Biaggi’s)

Last but not least is the 4/5 Game which will of course be an evenly matched affair. Both Teams played very well this season as the vets Team Schwartz find themselves just 3 wins away from a Crown they have been hunting for years.. Team Lerman is going through their first All Sports Series Playoffs as a unit, despite many individuals on the Team having played before.. These two Teams did not play in the Regular Season, so it is a fresh match-up. The Winner here is likely taking on #1 Team McNichols in the Final4 next week!

That’s it for the Preview. Good Luck and see you on Thursday!
