There will be a ton left to decide with many Teams clumped together in the Standings. All 10 Teams will qualify for the Playoffs but the difference between say the #3 seed and the #7 seed is a giant one.. Going to be a fun finish!

Power Rankings

1. Team McNichols (The Bucket List) – 5-1

9, 15, 18, 22, 23, 24. No, those are not your daily lottery numbers. Those are the individual scorer stats for Team McNichols during their Week 6 route of Team Zhang 111-60. Captain Chris, Boris Cayemitte and Romeo Magloire all went for 20+. They move to 5-1 on the year. Who can stop this fast paced offense? Team Mones will try to do just that next week.

2. Team Neuhausen (Live Clean CHI) – 5-1

It was a battle of the 4-1 teams as Team Neuhausen took on Team Berkson in Week 6. Calvin Kang was hitting NBA 3-pointers and Connor Grotton scored 23 points en route to a 90-66 win. This was an absolute STATEMENT W. Next up for them is Defending Champs Team Dean in the regular season finale.

3. Team Rhum (Rockin’ Refuel) – 4-2

Team Rhum came out to an incredibly hot start in their Week 6 game against Defending Champs Team Dean. After taking a 20-point lead early, Team Dean crawled back into the game, but Team Rhum closed them out and won by the score of 66-58. Really impressive and important W for them as we draw closer to Playoff time. Chris Kozloff led the scoring with 23 points. Up next for them is Team Kaplan.

4. Team Lerman (SLA Insurance Blue) – 4-2

After starting out 0-2, Team Lerman has won 4 straight including this week’s win against Team Kaplan 79-52. They have more than found their footing in the Chicago Hoops League scene. Jake Lerman scored 30 points and Luke Jacobson wasn’t even at this game, and they still won by 27. This Team will make a deep playoff run. Up next for them is another 4-2 squad – Team Berkson.

5. Team Berkson (StudentCity) – 4-2

Team Berkson played a solid game against Team Neuhausen, but just couldn’t keep up with the offensive powerhouse team. They lost 66-90 in the game. Matt Kaplan led the scoring with 18 points. When Team Neuhausen is firing on all cylinders there is little anyone can do to slow them down.. Just have to move on to the next one.. They will play Team Lerman in the last game of the regular season.

6. Team Dean (Sunset Foods) 3-3

Team Dean was shorthanded this week against Team Rhum, playing with only 5 guys and missing key players like Courtney Griffin and sharpshooter Mark Haas. Michael Mulroe led the scoring with 19 but it wasn’t enough as they lost 58-66. The Defending Champs are now at .500 through 6 weeks..  There last game of the regular season is against #2 Team Neuhausen. They risk coming into the Playoffs under .500 if they can’t rebound with a W.

7. Team Schwartz (Schweitzer Title) – 3-3

Team Schwartz got right back into the win column this week, beating Team Mones by the score of 71-47. Austin Brown dropped 18 to lead the squad to victory. This group flies under the radar somewhat and that will be a mistake come Playoff time. They are more than capable of running right through the Bracket. They take on Team Zhang to finish the Regular Season off on July 27.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team Kaplan (Karyn Collection) – 1-5

Team Kaplan fell to Team Lerman 52-79 this week, pushing their losing streak to 4 games. Brad Deutsch led the scoring with 18 points for them. They just need to get one back in the Win-column so they can breathe a sigh of relief and get back to Winning Basketball. Their last game of the regular season is against Team Rhum.

Team Mones (Schweitzer Title) – 1-5

Team Mones dropped their 5th game in a  row this week after winning the first game of the season. They fell to Team Schwartz 47-71 in Week 6. Alex Garvey led the scoring with 17 points for them. Much like Team Kaplan, this is a talented group that just needs to see something go their way and get some momentum. Unfortunately, they play the #1 Team McNichols next week.

Team Zhang (SLA Insurance White) – 0-6

Team Zhang had a tough opponent in #1 Team McNichols this week. DaRon Greason had 25 of the team’s 60 points, but it wasn’t nearly enough as they gave up 111. Team McNichols is the best Offense in the League. They will have one more chance to get their first win of the regular season next week against Team Schwartz in Week 7.
That’s it for this week!
