Power Rankings

1. Team Schultz (Biaggi’s) – 4-0

It is only fair that the only undefeated team through the first 4 weeks of the season be slotted #1 in our Power Rankings. Team Schultz picked up an impressive win this week, beating (or should I say “slaughtering”) Team Farris by the score of 110-52. Dan Sheehy was the leading scorer with 23. Team Dean will try to spoil their undefeated season next week.

2. Team Dean (Crystal Lake CDJ) – 3-1

Team Dean will slide up to the number 2 slot this week after a nice win against Team Rubin 102-70. Michael Mulroe was the leading scorer this week for the league, dropping 27 points. Watch out for these guys. Up next for them is a battle with #1 Team Schultz.

3. Team Clark (Schweitzer Title) – 3-1

Team Clark picked up a clutch win against Team Unger, coming out on the good side of a 62-58 score. Deonte Mentor had 17 points to lead the team in scoring. They will look to keep up with Teams Dean and Schultz next week with a game against Team Darcy.

4. Team Shlofrock (Sandusky Lee) – 3-1

Team Shlofrock finds themselves inside the top 5 this week after winning two games in a row, the most recent of which being a 59-44 win against Brystkowski. Charlmers Oscar was the leading scorer with 18 points. They go for win #3 in a row next week against Team Geocaris.

5. Team Maione (Rockin’ Refuel) – 2-2

Team Maione couldn’t bring the momentum from their impressive win against Team Clark last week to their matchup with Team Darcy, losing 63-67. Andy Timson had 17 of their 63 points. They look to get back on track next week against Team Rubin.

6. Team Darcy (The Bucket List) – 2-2

Team Darcy won their second game in a row this week, beating the dangerous Team Maione in a nail-biter 67-63. Eyad Salem and Bret Darcy each had 12 points to lead their team to victory. They play Team Clark next week.

7. Team Geocaris (Chipotle) – 2-2

Team Geocaris quickly bounced back from their loss last week by beating Team Schur 65-62 this week. Eric Handrich led the team with 16 points. They will try to win another one next week against Team Shlofrock.

8. Team Schur (SLA Insurance) – 2-2

Team Schur lost a tough game this week, losing by only 3 points to Team Geocaris. Tyler Max led the team with 22 points, but it just wasn’t enough. They look to bounce back next week against Team Brystkowski who has yet to win a game.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team Brystkowski (CEA Study Abroad) – 0-4

This team has yet to win a game this season, their most recent loss being a 15 point defeat at the hands of Team Shlofrock. Chris Spayl scored 15 in the loss. They hope to win their first game of the year next week against Team Schur.

Team Farris (Dr. Jacob D.D.S. Blue) – 0-4

Team Farris is still winless this season, losing by 50+ points this week to Team Schultz. Tobin Hwang was the bright spark in the team, scoring 21 of his team’s 52 points. They go for win #1 next week against Team Unger.

Team Rubin (Chicago Trolley) – 1-3

Team Rubin has now lost 3 games in a row after winning their first game of the season. They took a Week 4 loss to Team Dean 70-102, but Captain Alex Rubin shined by scoring 20 points. They hope to turn their season around next week against Team Maione.

Team Unger (Dr. Jacob D.D.S Purple) – 2-2

Team Unger dropped their second game in a row this week, losing this one to Team Clark, but only by 4 points. Judd Barron lit up the scorebooks, dropping 23 points en route to being the second leading scorer in the league this week. They look to get back to the win column next week against a struggling Team Farris, in what will be a must-win game for either team.

That’s it for Week 4. See you next week!
