Playoff Preview

Opening Rd:  7. Team Mordini (NKFI) v. 8. Team Marras (ALX Salon)

To start the Playoffs, Teams Mordini and Marras will take part in an Opening Round Game. The Top-6 Teams are already into the Quarterfinals, and these two groups will compete for the last spot available. Team Mordini had some success late in the second half and have looked better as of late. Team Marras is still searching for Win #1, but what a time it would be to pull it out. The Winners here take on #2 Team Valvassori in the Quarters immediately following this Game.

Elite8: 2. Team Valvassori (Sarkis Café) v. Winner 7/8

As stated above, Team Valvassori as the #2 seed will take on the Winner of the Opening Round Game on Sunday to start their journey to the Championship. They are 3 Wins away from the title, a Crown they have coveted for about 7 years now in All Sports Series. They will look to avenge last Sunday’s Loss to Team Pulfer as this coming Sunday progresses, but first things first — they need to defeat the Winner of Mordini/Marras…

Elite8: 3. Team Wellek (Spikeball) v. 6. Team Herz (CEA Study Abroad)

Two HP Teams will clash for a spot in the Final4 on Sunday afternoon. Team Herz had a slow start in the Regular Season but fared very well down the stretch and was able to leap out of the Opening Round, and into the Elite8. They were also able to avoid playing #2 seed Team Valvassori.. They of course, will have to go toe to toe with #3 Team Wellek who are the reigning College/Prep “All Sports” Champs. No easy feat there. This one should be a good Game however, with the Winner likely facing #2 Team Valvassori in the Final4.

Elite8: 4. Team Balkan (Dr. Jacob D.D.S.) v. 5. Team Beltrano (Danley’s Garage)

Team Balkan and Team Beltrano met all the way back in Week 1 in what was a competitive Game. Much has happened since then but they get lined up here in the Elite8 with a spot in the Final4 on the line. This one is a total toss-up and either group could take it. The Winner here takes on #1 Team Pulfer in the Final4 and will have a shot at the Championship Game.

Final4: 1. Team Pulfer (StudentCity) v. Winner 4/5

Team Pulfer ended the season with a perfect record and will look to complete that on Sunday. They are 2 wins away from the Crown. They will take on the Winner of Balkan/Beltrano and then if they can Win that, they will go on to face whoever comes out of the other side of the bracket. They have essentially dominated in all facets this season and are the favorites heading into Sunday’s tourney.

Final4: Winner 2/7/8 v. Winner 3/6

Championship: Winner of two Final4 Games

That’s it for the Playoff Preview. See everyone on Sunday.
