Power Rankings

1. Team KSig JR (Ian’s Pizza) – 2-0

Holding down the #1 spot again in the Rankings this Week is Team KSig JR, Captained by Luke Libert They got a nice Win over AEPi in Week 2. Chris Swade had 17 and Captain Luke had 15 to help them earn their second straight W to start the 2017 Season. These guys have depth and athleticism and will be tough to beat for any Team in the League. They look ahead to Week 3 where they will take on #2 KSig SO in the battle for the #1 spot, and Kappa Sig supremacy. Also, it’ll be the StudentCity Game of the Week!

2. Team KSig SO (StudentCity) – 2-0

Keeping pace with #1 is KSig SO who stay in the #2 spot as we exit Week 2 following their 52-44 over Team DU on Tuesday Night. Wilfred Audley had 17 points in the W. Mckinley Clemons added 15.  These guys can really play and have been extremely impressive to debut their All Sports Series careers. They now look ahead to what could end up being the biggest Game of the Regular Season for them, even if it is early. They will take part in the StudentCity Game of the Week against #1 Team KSig JR. Bragging rights in their house will be up for grabs as well as the #1 spot in the Rankings and a 3-0 start.  Huge Game.

3. Team Theta Chi (MacTaggart’s Orange) – 2-0

Team Theta Chi maintains a Top-3 spot following their Week 2 victory over Defending Champs Fiji.  They won by a score of 64-62 in what was a close one all the way down to the wire. Brad Burling went for 20 points for the second straight week to start the season. He is the only Player in the League to do so. Griffin Oleszczuk went for 15 in the W as well. These guys will take on #5 Sammy FR/SO and if they can earn a Week 3 Win, they’ll likely move up to #2 since the KSig squads play each other in Week 3.

4. Team Sammy JR/SR (CEA Study Abroad) – 1-1

Picking up their first Win of the season and leaping up into the #4 spot this Week is Team Sammy JR/SR. We said it last week, they would not stay down for long. This Team is too good and has won too many Games over the Years to get off to a truly slow start. Daniel Ostrower led the League in scoring in Week 2 with 21 points. Mason Brooks poured in 20 as well. They look ahead to a Week 3 with Defending Champs Team Fiji in what is going to be a really great slate of Week 3 Games.

5. Team Sammy FR/SO (Biaggi’s Gray) – 1-1

The Sammy FR/SO cling on to the final spot in the Rankings this week despite falling to their older bros. in Week 2. The Final score was 63-53. Matthew Budkofsky had 18 on Tuesday Night and Ryan Cradel added 14. They are a tough Team and even with a couple ups and downs early (which is normal for younger Teams) they are going to be able to compete with the best come the end of the Season. They take on Undefeated #3 Team Theta Chi in Week 3.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team AEPi (MacTaggart’s Blue) – 0-2

Team AEPi is still searching for their first Win as we exit Week 2 but they have played well to start the Season nonetheless. They fell to #1 KSig JR on Tuesday Night. No shame in that. Trevor Berger scored 18 in his debut. Ben Rodheim went for 13 as well. They look ahead now to Week 3 where they attempt to snap this mini-skid.. They will take on Team DU – who is also winless heading into Week 3.

Team DU (The Bucket List) – 0-2

Team DU suffered their 2nd straight Loss to start the 2017 Campaign on Tuesday Night. It was a tough battle with #2 KSig SO but in the end they fell by 8 points. They showed that they are capable of playing with the best in the League though. Captain Jack Wells led with 15 points.  Turner Longyear went for double digits in the second straight Game as well. They now focus on Week 3 where they will take on 0-2 Team AEPi.. One of those Teams will get on the right track while the other will be looking at an 0-3 start.

Team Fiji (Biaggi’s Purple) – 0-2

Last but not least (remember it is alphabetical in this section) are the Defending Champs Fiji. They are suffering from a bit of a Championship hangover while they try to integrate some new members into the Roster. They lost a heartbreaker by a bucket to Team Theta Chi in Week 2 and just need to put it past them. Their 2 Losses are of a combined 12 points. They are right there. Tony Stella led with 12 points on the night. They look to get back on track in Week 3 against #4 Sammy JR/SR.

That’s it for Week 2. Good Luck in Week 3!
