Power Rankings

1. Team Monday (Ljuboja) – 5-0

Team Monday (Ljuboja) is a team that no one in the league wants to face right now. This team seems to be on cruise control and have won their first five games to remain the only team without a blemish on their record. By the final score of 86-25 over INDY Team #5 and a final score of 82-34 over Team Nothing Special (Patidar), Team Monday swept their scheduled double header on Tuesday night and remain in the #1 spot in the Week 4 Power Rankings. In their first game of their DH against INDY Team #5, five different players from Team Monday scored in double figures with Liam Lesniak leading the way with a solid 21-point performance. Much was the same in the back end of their double header as Team Monday cruised to victory over Team Nothing Special with four different players all hitting double digit figures. Jake Lerman led the way in this contest with 15 points while Isaac Masters and Liam Lesniak combined to score 26. Coming up in Week 5, Team Monday gets to face off against Team Plan B Especial (1-3) who will be looking to avenge their 1-point loss from this past Tuesday.

2. Team Knox – 3-1

Winners of three straight games and moving up into the #2 spot in the Week 4 Power Rankings is non-other than Team Knox. By the final score of 108-95, Team Knox was able to hold off a hot shooting Team J-V Nation squad and has solidified themselves as a true title contender. Team Knox was simply too powerful for Team J-V Nation as all six of their available players were able to hit double digit points in this one. Captain and floor general Andrew Knox did what he has been doing all season and chipped in a solid 12 points to help secure their third victory on the season. Chris Elder and Anthony Pierce both chipped in 21-points apiece to help lead their crew to this very important Week 4 victory. It was a very good overall team effort as everyone on the team got involved offensively. Team Knox has a scheduled double header coming up in Week 5. They will need to first turn their attention to INDY Team #5 (1-4) before they tip off against Team Nothing Special (3-1) in our Week 5 Game of the Week!

3. Team Nothing Special (Patidar) – 3-1

Moving down into the #3 spot in the Week 4 Power Rankings is Team Nothing Special (Patidar). By the final score of 82-34, Team Nothing Special dropped their first game on the Fall TUESDAY campaign. They can’t be too disappointed however as they had to go up against #1 and arguably the hottest team in the league right now, Team Monday (Ljuboja). Team Nothing Special is still one of the power teams in the league but just ran into a tough Team Monday squad at the wrong time. Dennis Kepcha led the way for Team Nothing Special on Tuesday night, scoring a solid 11 points. Seth Parker and Chris Lipari combined to score 17 but unfortunately for Team Nothing Special, it wasn’t nearly enough to keep pace with a high-scoring Team Monday crew. These guys will need to put this loss behind them quickly because coming up in Week 5 for Team Nothing Special is another difficult match-up as they face off against #2 Team Knox (3-1) in our Week 5 Game of the Week!

4. Team Lakeview Lakers – 1-3

Slowly but surely, Team Lakeview Lakers is steadily climbing up our Power Rankings board. Moving all the way up into the #4 spot in the Week 4 Power Rankings with a solid 50-49 victory over Team Plan B Especial (Loos) on Tuesday night, Team Lakeview Lakers recorded their first victory on the 2018 Fall Tuesday campaign. When Team Lakeview Lakers is at full force, as they were on Tuesday night, this is what the outcome of games will normally be. These guys put their foot on the gas pedal from tip off and didn’t look back. Aubry Denard made his season debut for Team Lakeview Lakers and dominated the game with a huge 25-point performance. The 25 points was the second highest total from any player in Week 4. Craig Pilla was very efficient as well by chipping in 12 points of his own. This is a team that can win on any given Tuesday and will be looking to rack up a few more victories prior to Playoffs starting. Next up on the docket for Team Lakeview Lakers on Tuesday night is Team J-V Nation (1-3) who will also be looking to snag their second victory on this season.

5. Team Plan B Especial (Loos) – 1-3

Team Plan B Especial (Loos) was coming into Week 4 with some confidence after their big Week 3 victory over INDY Team #5. Unfortunately, that confidence was short lived as they dropped a heart-breaker to #4 Team Lakeview Lakers in Week 4 by a final score of 50-49. Rudy Stith led the way for Team Plan B Especial with 23 points, while Westley Volk, Jan Szarwark, Rawlins Riles and Captain Ken Loos combined to score 26. Rudy was absolutely on fire in this game and did all he could to try to record a second victory for his squad. Unfortunately for Team Plan B Especial, they came up just 1-point shy. They will have another opportunity to redeem themselves on Tuesday night when they square off against #1 Team Monday (5-0). A win here against the #1 team in the league can really jump-start their season and really skyrocket them up the Rankings. Huge game coming up.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

INDY Team #5 – 1-4

INDY Team #5 really struggled to get anything going offensively in their Week 4 contest against #1 Team Monday (Ljuboja). By the final score of 86-25, INDY Team #5 suffered their worst defeat of the season at the hands of #1 Team Monday. Team Monday was just a little too powerful for INDY Team #5 as Team Monday went on a big run straight out of the gates and the tone was set from there. Daniel Lenders for INDY Team #5 did what he could do and poured in 10 points to try to keep his guys within striking distance early. William Tertell also chipped in 6 points of his own, but this squad will need much more offensive production from everyone on this team if they want to start stuffing some W’s in the win column. With a lopsided loss like this I wouldn’t be shocked if INDY Team #5 comes out the gates strong next week and steel one away from the highest scoring team in the league, Team Knox (3-1). Anything is possible in All Sports Series Hoops leagues!

Team J-V Nation (Raja) – 1-3

In what ended up being the highest scoring contest of the year, Team J-V Nation played their best game of the year but ended up suffering their third straight defeat, falling to #2 Team Knox by a final score of 108-95 on Tuesday night. Team J-V Nation played good ball early and got solid contributions from everyone on the team, but Team Knox showed their All Sports Series experienced and never really gave Team J-V Nation an opportunity to get back into the game. Anfernee Tevin James did an amazing job on Tuesday night by chipping in 37 points and trying to keep it close for his guys. The 37-point performance was the highest scoring output by any player this season! Also, special shout out to Greg Gillespie who poured in 23 points as well. Team J-V Nation is a very scrappy team that can hang with anyone in this league and I wouldn’t be surprised if they came out feisty next week as they look to snag their second victory of the season. They’ll have another difficult task coming up on Tuesday night as they meet #4 Team Lakeview Lakers (1-3).

Week 4 is in the books! BIG games coming up in Week 5!
