Power Rankings

1. Team Monday (Ljuboja) – 7-0

Team Monday (Ljuboja) just keeps on rolling. They got their 7th straight win on Tuesday Nights last week against INDY Team #5 by a score of 90-43. Once again, they showed their depth – 5 players were in double figures for them – including Captain and leading scorer Miki Ljuboja who had 20. Liam Lesniak and Hunter Claire both pitched in 19, while Isaac Masters and Alyssa Colla chipped in with 13 and 12 respectively. With this very solid Week 6 victory, Team Monday Ljuboja clinches the overall #1 Seed (regardless of their result coming up on Tuesday night) as they currently hold the Head-To-Head tiebreaker with #2 Team Knox. They look to close out the perfect Regular Season on Tuesday Night against #5 Team Lakeview Lakers (1-5) and keep their winning momentum turning prior to heading into the Fall 2018 TUESDAY Hoops postseason.

2. Team Knox – 6-1

Sticking at #2 this week are the defending Spring TUESDAY Hoops Champs, Team Knox. They blew out Team Plan B Especial (Loos) by 51 points on Tuesday Night! Five different players hit double digit scoring in this contest for Team Knox, led by Toussaint Knox and his 23-point performance. Captain Andre also had a big game dropping 20 huge points, while Anthony Pierce, Alex Roberts and Chris White all added 14 apiece to contribute to the winning cause. With this Week 6 victory, #2 Team Knox has officially clinched the overall #2 Seed (they lost the head-to-head tiebreaker with #1 Team Monday) for the 2018 Fall TUESDAY Hoops postseason. They look to close out the Regular Season on a 7-Game Win streak on Tuesday Night when they take the floor against #3 Team Nothing Special (4-2) in our Week 7 Game of the Week!

3. Team Nothing Special (Patidar) – 4-2

These types of Wins do not come much easier than this. #5 Team Lakeview Lakers forfeited against #3 Team Nothing Special (Patidar) in Week 6 as they did not have enough available bodies to field a legal team. The win pushes Team Nothing Special regular season record to 4-2 and officially clinches the overall #3 seed for them as they hold the head-to-head tiebreaker with #4 Team J-V Nation (Raja). They’ll look to close out the regular season on Tuesday night on a 2-game winning streak when they take the court against #2 Team Knox (6-1) in our Week 7 Game of the Week!

4. Team J-V Nation (Raja) – 3-3

Maintaining the #4 spot this week is Team J-V Nation (Raja), following a close W to Team Plan B Especial (Loos) by a final score of 70-67. Anfernee Tevin James led the team and league in scoring on Tuesday night with a magical 35-point performance to help lead his squad back to the .500 mark at 3-3. Miguel Reyes and Jeremiah Bankole were also in double figures in this contest for Team J-V Nation as they combined for a solid 33 points. With this very important Week 6 victory, Team J-V Nation and Captain Mo Raja clinched the overall #4 seed heading into the Fall 2018 TUESDAY Hoops postseason (lost head-to-head tiebreaker with #3 Team Nothing Special). They’ll look to close out their regular season schedule on a strong note and bring their current winning steak up to 3 games when they take the court coming up on Tuesday night against the same squad that they just beat in Week 6, Team Plan B Especial (1-6).

5. Team Lakeview Lakers – 1-5

#5 Team Lakeview Lakers were not able to get enough available bodies together in their Week 6 match-up against #3 Team Nothing Special (Patidar) and unfortunately had to take a forfeit loss. The loss pushes their regular season record to 1-5. They currently sit in the #5 spot for the Fall 2018 TUESDAY Hoops postseason but could finish as low as the #7 seed, based on their results coming up in Week 7. They have two very important games coming up on Tuesday night and if they can win both of their games, they’ll enter the Playoffs as the overall #5 seed. If they lose one or both of their games, they could finish as low as #7. They’ll first take the court against #1 Team Monday (7-0) before tipping off against INDY Team #5 (1-6). Huge week coming up for Team Lakeview Lakers.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

INDY Team #5 – 1-6

INDY Team #5 faced a determined #1 Team Monday (Ljuboja) squad who was looking for their seventh straight Win in Week 6, and it didn’t go the way that INDY Team #5 wanted, falling by a final score of 90-43. Ian Ryder had 12 to lead them in scoring and Craig Lenders had 10. With this Week 6 loss, INDY Team #5 is currently sitting in the #7 spot for the Fall 2018 TUESDAY Hoops postseason. They’ll have a tough and important matchup with #5 Team Lakeview Lakers (1-5) coming up in Week 7. If they win this game and Team Plan B Especial losses their Week 7 game, INDY Team #5 could finish as high as the #5 seed. Should they lose their Week 7 match-up, they will enter the Playoffs as the overall #7 seed. Huge week coming up.

Team Plan B Especial (Loos) – 1-6

Team Plan B Especial and Captain Ken Loos had a tough double-header on their schedule in Week 6 and unfortunately left Windy City Fieldhouse on the losing end of both of their games. In game 1 of their DH, Team Plan B Especial took a tough loss to #4 Team J-V Nation by a final score of 70-67. Jan Szarwark led the way in this first game for Team Plan B Especial with 19 big points, while Anthony Nguyen pitched in with 18 points of his own to help keep his squad within striking distance of Team J-V Nation. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t enough as they fell by 3 points. Game 2 of their DH got away from them quickly and their tired legs caught up to them in this contest as they ended up losing to #2 Team Knox by a final score of 94-43. Rawlins Riles led the way in this contest for Team Plan B Especial with 13 points but they just could not find enough offensive fire power to keep pace with the highest scoring team in the league. With these two Week 6 losses, Team Plan B Especial currently sits in the #6 spot for the Fall 2018 TUESDAY Hoops postseason. They have a rematch with #4 Team J-V Nation coming up on Tuesday night and a win here could see them rise into the #5 spot. A loss here on the other hand could see them finish as low as #7. Big game coming up in Week 7!

That’s it for this week. Good Luck in the Regular Season finale!
