Playoff Scenarios

1. Team Deutsch – 6-0 – LOCKED #1 Seed

Brian Oddo had his fourth straight 20-point scoring performance in Team Deutsch’s latest W over Team Shlofrock. By the final score of 81-73, they got to 6-0 with the win and have a two-game cushion over everyone else in the league with just one regular season game remaining. They’ll be looking to complete a perfect regular season against the locked in #8 seed, Team Jimenez, coming up on Tuesday night. This regular season finale coming up on Tuesday night will essentially be a scouting game for both clubs as these two squads will have a guaranteed first round playoff match-up against one another.

Race for #2 Seed

t-2. Team Knox – 4-2

Two straight victories have brought Team Knox’s regular season record to 4-2. Captain Andre Knox had a monster performance on Tuesday evening, dropping a week high of 30 points to help lead his squad to an 84-61 victory over Team Immunity. Team Knox currently sits tied for second place with defending champions Team Darcy (4-2). These two squads have a huge regular season finale against one another on Tuesday night and the winner of this game will guarantee themselves the overall #2 seed. The losing team however will find themselves playing the waiting game as they could potentially fall all the way down to the #5 overall seed.

t-2. Team Darcy – 4-2

After suffering a tough loss in Week 5 against Team Immunity, Team Darcy bounced back very nicely in Week 6 and notched their fourth victory on the season by beating Team Dean 75-69. Sam Martinez led the charge for Team Darcy in this crucial victory, scoring 24 huge points. Five different players ended up scoring double digit points for the defending champions in this one. They’ll need that type of balanced production once again coming up on Tuesday night as they have a huge game coming up against Team Knox. This game will determine the overall #2 seed and could drop the loser of this game all the way down to the #5 overall seed (dependent on all other results).

Race for #3 Seed

t-3. Team Shlofrock – 3-3

Team Shlofrock dropped a tough game to the overall #1 seed Team Deutsch on Tuesday night by a final score of 81-73, and as a result, have put tremendous pressure on themselves to close out the regular season on a positive note. Matt Maloney had 19, Andrew Marks had 18 and Captain Jake had 16 in this loss to Team Deutsch on Tuesday evening. The loss drops their regular season record to 3-3 and will need to do whatever they can to snatch that 4th victory against Team Watts (2-4) coming up on Tuesday. A win will give Team Shlofrock a chance to lock in the overall #3 seed (dependent on all other results), while a loss could potentially push them down as low as the #7 overall seed (dependent on all other results).

t-3. Team Dean – 3-3

Team Dean has dropped back-to-back games for the first time this season and as a result, have pushed their regular season record down to 3-3. In Tuesday nights loss to defending champions Team Darcy by a final score of 75-69, Michael Mulroe had a season high of 20 points. Unfortunately for Michael and the rest of the Team Dean crew, they just were not able to make big shots down the stretch and now leave themselves with a crucial game to close out the regular season. A win coming up on Tuesday night against Team Immunity (2-4) will give Team Dean a chance to lock in the overall #3 seed (dependent on all other results), while a loss could potentially push them down as low as the #7 overall seed (dependent on all other results).

Race for #4 Seed

t-4. Team Watts – 2-4

Team Watts picked up a huge victory on Tuesday night over Team Jimenez by a final score of 85-42 to bring their regular season record up to 2-4. Five different players scored double digit points in this one, led by Samuel Weeks and Tom Eggleston 17-point performances. This very important victory gives Team Watts the opportunity to finish as high as the #4 overall seed if they secure a W coming up on Tuesday and get a little help from others. A loss on the other hand for Team Watts would drop their regular season record to 2-5 and could potentially see them start the postseason as low as the #7 overall seed. Huge game coming up on Tuesday night against Team Shlofrock (3-3) to close out their regular season.

t-4. Team Immunity – 2-4

Team Immunity came into Week 6 riding high coming off their very nice Week 5 victory over defending champions Team Darcy. Unfortunately for Team Immunity, they could not carry that momentum over to Week 6 on Tuesday night as they lost a tough one to Team Knox by a final score of 84-61. Kyle Pass had 14, Captain Isiah Watts dropped 13 and Yussf Gheriani pitched in with 12 for Team Immunity, but it just wasn’t enough to hang around a hot shooting Team Knox squad. Team Immunity will close out their first All Sports Series regular season with a match-up against Team Dean (3-3) on Tuesday night with an opportunity to finish as high as the #4 overall seed if they secure a W and get a little help from others. A loss on the other hand for Team Immunity would drop their regular season record to 2-5 and could potentially see them start the postseason as low as the #7 overall seed.

8. Team Jimenez – 0-6 – LOCKED #8 Seed

Team Jimenez dropped their sixth consecutive game on Tuesday night, falling to Team Watts by a final score of 85-42. The loss drops their regular season record to 0-6 and now sit two games back of the #7 seed with only one regular season game remaining. They will be locked into the #8 seed in the upcoming postseason. Tommy had a nice night on Tuesday night dropping 13 points while Josh contributed with 11 of his own. They’ll be looking to snatch their first regular season W against the locked in #1 seed, Team Deutsch, coming up on Tuesday night. This regular season finale coming up on Tuesday night will essentially be a scouting game for both clubs as these two squads will have a guaranteed first round playoff match-up against one another.

That’s it for the Playoff Scenarios. Good Luck in the final week of the Regular Season!
