Power Rankings

1. Team Kappa Sig SR (Adam Goldberg) – 3-1

Sticking at #1 this week is Team KSig SR, who bounced back nicely from their Week 3 Loss. They won 60-56 over Team Theta Chi SR. Peter Poggioli re-appeared for the first time since Week 1 and scored 24 points to lead them in scoring – that was enough for the highest total in the League on Thursday Night! He also has the highest average in the entire League through Week 4. They have a huge double header coming up on Tuesday Night. First, they will tip-off against Team Fiji SR who will be looking to snatch their first win on the 2018 campaign, followed by a match-up against #3 Team DU (3-0) in our Week 5 Game of the Week!

2. Team Theta Chi SR (Noah Stern) – 3-1

They fell in a Game they wanted to get during Week 4, but they are still 3-1 – so for now they hold the #2 spot. Payton Simon had a huge night in the back end of his squad’s double header, dropping 22 huge points but it just wasn’t enough against #1 Kappa Sig SR. They fortunately were able to pull out the W in the front end of their double dip, beating Team AEPi SR by a final score of 52-37. These guys have a huge game coming up on Tuesday night against Team Sammy SR (1-3). A win here can see them move up into the #1 spot in the Week 5 Power Rankings.

3. Team Delta Upsilon SR (Clayton Reible) – 3-0

They have outlasted each one of the other Teams in the League that have lined up on the schedule. At 3-0, they are in sole possession of first place in the Standings and the only Team left with a 0 in the Loss column. They stay in the #3 spot in the Week 4 Power Rankings because they have yet to face the top-2 teams in the league and have played a game less. This could all change in Week 5 as they have a scheduled double dip against #2 Team Theta Chi SR (3-1) and #4 Team AEPI SR (2-2) coming up on Tuesday night. These guys can realistically start chasing a perfect Regular Season. Just 3 Games left to do so…

4. Team Aepi SR (Ben Kohl) – 2-2

Staying in the #4 hole this week is Team AEPi who suffered their second loss of the Season on Thursday Night. They struggled to get anything going on the offensive end of the court on Thursday night, dropping a season low 37 points in their Week 4 loss to Team Theta Chi SR by the final score of 52-37. Trevor Bergher led the way for this crew on Thursday night, dropping 11 points to help keep his squad in this game. Justin Seligbon, Charlie Taxman and Captain Ben combined to score 22 of the teams 37 total points. There is still time for them as they have a scheduled double dip against #3 Team DU JR (3-0) and Team Sammy SO (1-2) coming up on Tuesday night.

5. Team Sammy SO (Brian Unger) – 1-2

Team Sammy SO struggled to get enough available bodies on Thursday night and unfortunately had to take a forfeit loss. The loss brings their record down to 1-2. They still have 3 regular season games remaining on their schedule to bring their record over the .500 mark prior to the Playoffs starting. They’ll get 2 opportunities coming up on Tuesday night as they have a scheduled double dip on hand. They first will tip off against housemates Team Sammy SR (1-3) before taking the floor against Team AEPi SR (2-2). Huge games coming up for them on Tuesday night.

Rest of the Pack (Alphabetical Order)

Team Fiji SR (Grant Bailey) – 0-4

In Week 3, Team Fiji SR lost a heartbreaker to #2 Team Theta Chi SR by the final score of 45-43. Captain Grant led the way for Team Fiji in this game, scoring 15 massive points to almost pull off the upset here. Antonio Alicen also chipped in with 12 points, but it just wasn’t enough to squeeze by Team Theta Chi. The loss brought their record to 0-3. In Week 4, Team Fiji struggled to get enough available bodies and had to take the forfeit loss. The loss brought their record down to 0-4. The good news for Team Fiji is that all teams make the Playoffs and now they just need to grab a couple of wins to get some momentum turning prior to the Playoffs starting. They get a chance at redemptions coming up on Tuesday night when they take the floor against #1 Team Kappa Sig SR.

Team Sammy SR (Jared Nossen) – 1-3

That’s it for Week’s 3 and 4. We’ll see everyone back on the court on Tuesday Night!
