Power Rankings

1. Team Knox – 4-0

Team Knox is a team that no one in the league wants to face right now. This squad seems to be on cruise control and have won their first four games to remain the only team without a blemish on their record. By the final score of 73-71, Team Knox notched their fourth straight win against #4 Team Anderson in our Week 3 Game of the Week and remain in the #1 spot in the Week 4 Power Rankings. Team Anderson did their best to keep it close and hang around, but Team Knox’s All Sports Series Hoops experience shined through and carried them to victory. Four different players from Team Knox scored in double figures with Chris White and Alex leading the way with 14 points apiece. David Johnson produced his third consecutive double-digit scoring performance by pitching in 11 points of his own. Coming up in Week 5, Team Knox will look to extend their winning streak to five games with a match-up against a winless The Average Wolves of Pen Island (0-4) squad who will be looking to avenge their 21-point loss from this past Tuesday night.

2. Wet Dream Team – 3-1

Wet Dream Team came into Week 4 looking to make it back-to-back victories following their tough Week 2 loss to #1 Team Knox. Once all was said and done, Wet Dream Team walked out of WCFH on Tuesday night with a blowout 92-50 victory over INDY Team #5. Adam Hufford and Kyle Terpstra had monster evenings for Wet Dream Team, each posting 28 points in their squads winning effort. The 28 points for Hufford and Terpstra were both season highs. Captain Andrew Lively also had a huge night from the floor, posting a season high 16 points to help lead his squad to their third victory on the campaign. Overall, it was a great team effort as four players reached double digit scoring figures and all six available players reached the scorers sheet. Exactly what aspiring Champions must do! Coming up on Tuesday night, Wet Dream Team tips off against #3 Team LifeTime Blur (3-1) in our Week 5 Game of the Week!

3. LifeTime Blur – 3-1

Team LifeTime Blur came into Week 4 looking to shake off a painful loss in Week 3 to #1 Team Knox. By the final score of 54-33, Team LifeTime Blur cruised past #6 The Average Wolves of Pen Island and have solidified themselves as a Top-3 team. Team LifeTime Blur was simply too powerful and too quick for The Average Wolves of Pen Island squad as Captain Anfernee Tevin James once again led the way for Team LifeTime Blur with 14 points. Gregory Gillespie produced his second straight strong performance and chipped in a solid 13 points to help secure his squads third victory on the campaign. Jeremiah Bankole supplied 12 points of his own, his fourth straight game reaching at least 12 points. Team LifeTime Blur struggled a little bit Offensively as they were held to their lowest scoring total on the year with 54 points, however their Defense stepped up huge in this game and allowed a season-low 33 points. Team LifeTime Blur will now need to turn their attention to #2 Wet Dream Team (3-1) in Week 5 in our Week 5 Game of Week! Huge match-up coming up for both squads.

4. Team Anderson – 1-3

6, 4, 2. These are the total points #4 Team Anderson’s three defeats have come by this season. This squad can easily be 4-0. By the final score of 73-71 in our Week 4 Game of the Week, Team Anderson lost a thriller to #1 Team Knox and now sees their overall record sit at 1-3. Danny Nordmann stepped up huge for Team Anderson in this contest as he was able to drop 22 points to help keep his squad in this game. Captain Ian Anderson had his best outing of the year on Tuesday night, producing 19 points of his own. Jack Nordholt also had a big night after a disappointing Week 3 performance (zero points) and was able to contribute 16 points in his squads losing effort. Team Anderson will need to shake this loss off and not think about what could’ve been. Instead, they need to focus on what’s in front of them and start racking up a few W’s before the Playoffs arrive. They’ll get another opportunity to redeem themselves coming up on Tuesday night when they take the court against #5 INDY Team #5 (1-3).

5. INDY Team #5 – 1-3

By the final score of 92-50, INDY Team #5 suffered a lopsided defeat by falling to #2 Wet Dream Team on Tuesday night. INDY Team #5 played good ball early and got solid contributions from everyone on the squad, but Wet Dream Team showed their experience and never really gave INDY Team #5 an opportunity to get back into the game. Vasilije Cupara did a great job on Tuesday night by chipping in 17 points to lead his squad in scoring and trying to keep it close for his guys. Aaron Rubin, Donald Banks and Reed Hogan all had nice nights from the floor, each producing 8 points apiece for INDY Team #5 in this contest. INDY Team #5 is a very scrappy team that can hang with anyone in this league and I wouldn’t be surprised if they came out feisty next week as they look to snag their second victory of the season. Nevertheless, they’ll have another difficult task coming up on Tuesday night as they meet #4 Team Anderson (1-3) in a very important contest for both squads.

6. The Average Wolves of Pen Island – 0-4

#6 The Average Wolves of Pen Island have struggled to get it going Offensively this season as they are only averaging just under 37 PPG after four weeks of games. Those struggles continued Tuesday night as they dropped their fourth consecutive ballgame by the final score of 54-33 to #3 Team LifeTime Blur. Team LifeTime Blur was just a little too quick for The Average Wolves of Pen Island as Team LifeTime Blur came up firing right out of the gates and the tone was set from there. Grant Greeno, for The Average Wolves of Pen Island, did all that he could do and poured in 14 points to help keep his guys within striking distance early. Will Reedy also chipped in 7 points of his own, but this squad will need much more Offensive production from everyone on this team if they want to start stuffing some W’s in the win column. With a lopsided loss like this I wouldn’t be shocked if The Average Wolves of Pen Island comes out the gates strong next week and steels one away from #1 Team Knox (4-0). Anything is possible in All Sports Series Hoops leagues!

That’s a wrap for Week 4. Good luck to all in Week 5!
