Power Rankings

1. Team Knox – 5-0

Team Knox is off to about as good of a start as you can ask for. They are now 5-0. They are averaging just over 86 PPG and are allowing just 68 PPG. That is a plus 18-point margin. They are playing some great ball right now. In Week 5, they defeated #6 The Average Wolves of Pen Island by a final score of 86-66. All 10 players that dressed for Team Knox on Tuesday night were able to get on the scorer’s sheet with Chris Elder leading the way in scoring, going for 19 points. Tremell Adams and Alex both pitched in with 13 apiece to help carry their squad to this important 5th victory. These guys are going to go for 6-0 and try to lock up the #1 overall seed against #2 Team Lifetime Blur (4-1) in our Week 6 Game of the Week! These two squads met back in Week 3 and Team Knox walked out of WCFH with an impressive 83-75 victory. A loss on Tuesday night for Team Knox would still give them an opportunity to finish with the overall #1 seed but they would need to record a W in Week 7 while also receiving some help from others.

2. LifeTime Blur – 4-1

Team LifeTime Blur picked up their fourth victory on the season and second win in a row on Tuesday night, beating Wet Dream Team by the final score of 60-59 in what ended up being our Week 5 Game of the Week! Greg Gillespie finished with 19 points to lead LifeTIme Blur in the scoring department for the second time this season. Jeremiah Bankole (AKA Mr. Consistency) was able to produce 15 points to help lead this squad to a fantastic 4th regular season victory. Bankhole has now scored at least 12 points in all five games for Team LifeTime Blur. Captain Anfernee James finished this contest with his lowest scoring output of the year (11 points) but it was his defense and leadership that shined through on Tuesday night to help his squad secure this very important victory. Team LifeTime Blur will now have their sights on the overall #1 seed with a crucial match-up coming up on Tuesday night against #1 Team Knox in our Week 6 Game of the Week! A loss here would eliminate any chance of them finishing the Regular Season as the overall #1 seed. Huge game coming up on Tuesday night.

3. Wet Dream Team – 3-2

#3 Wet Dream Team took a crushing defeat on Tuesday night, falling to #2 Team Lifetime Blur in our Week 5 Game of the Week. By the final score of 60-59, Wet Dream Team took their second defeat of the season and can now finish no better than the #2 seed with two weeks of regular season games remaining. Wet Dream Team was stifled all night on the Offensive end of the court, being held to their lowest scoring output on the season since Week 1. Kyle Terpstra finished with 22 points on Tuesday night to lead his squad in scoring for the second consecutive week. Meanwhile, Adam Hufford and Captain Andrew Lively also produced solid scoring lines for Wet Dream Team, combining to score 27 points. Coming up in Week 6, Wet Dream Team gets a date against #4 Team Anderson (2-3) in a pivotal match-up for both squads. These two squads met back in Week 3 and Wet Dream Team walked away with a solid 59-55 victory. We expect another great game from these two squads coming up on Tuesday night.

4. Team Anderson – 2-3

Team Anderson was able to find their way back into the Win column after losing their previous two games, beating #5 INDY Team #5 by the final score of 85-49. Great Teams bounce back after tough losses and they have shown the ability to do that now. Captain Ian Anderson had a monster performance on Tuesday night, dropping a season high of 24 points to help secure his squads second victory on the campaign. Mack Watts had his best outing of the year since Week 1, producing 23 points to help lift his squad to victory. Andy Levitz made his season debut for Team Anderson on Tuesday night and finished with a very solid 16 points. These guys can score at will and no team will want to face them come Playoff time. They’ll look to build on this nice win and get their record back to the .500 mark in Week 6 when they take the court against #3 Wet Dream Team (3-2). A victory in Week 6 for Team Anderson would secure at the very least the #4 seed, while a loss could potentially still see them finish as low as #6. Big game coming up on Tuesday night.

5. INDY Team #5 – 1-4

INDY Team #5 is in a bit of a rut after dropping their second straight game on Tuesday night. They started off the season with two consecutive losses before picking up a big W in Week 3. Their schedule picked up a bit and they haven’t been able to find their footing again, losing their second straight game once again on Tuesday night, falling to #4 Team Anderson by a final score of 85-49. They are a talented group though, that hasn’t changed since Week 1. They are still learning how to gel as a unit. Big man Vasilije Cupara led the way once again on Tuesday night with a season-high 18 points, while Jacob Miller produced his best scoring performance since Week 1, finishing with 10 points. These guys have a chance to bounce back in a big way in Week 6 when they take on #6 The Average Wolves of Pen Island (0-5), who is still winless on the Winter TUESDAY campaign. These two squads met in Week 3 and INDY Team #5 recorded a forfeit victory. Another win here for INDY Team #5 would guarantee them no worse than the #5 overall seed.

6. The Average Wolves of Pen Island – 0-5

By a final score of 86-66, The Average Wolves of Pen Island have now dropped their fifth consecutive game to remain winless on the season, losing to #1 Team Knox. The good news for them is that they are capable of much more and every team is going to make the Playoffs. Another positive note is that this squad produced their highest scoring total of the season in Week 5. Joe Weber made an appearance in Week 5 after missing the previous two games and finished with a game-high 21 points. Grant Greeno was also very productive on the Offensive end of the court for the second straight week, finishing with a solid 15 points. The Average Wolves of Pen Island will however need to find more production from other guys if they plan on making some noise in the postseason. They must now forget the first five games and try to finish the regular season strong. They take on #5 INDY Team #5 (1-4) in Week 6. A win here can completely turn their fortunes around and give them the momentum they need heading into the postseason. A loss on the other hand would guarantee them the #6 overall seed heading into the postseason. Huge game coming up on Tuesday night.

Week 5 is in the books. Huge games coming up in Week 6!
